After relishing in the sweet, refreshing delight of a Mint Mojito on my back porch at the end of this summer, I decided to delve into the deliciousness of a mint mojito crusty bread.
Mint Mojito Artisanal Bread
3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup fresh mint, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 1/2 tsp. dry active yeast
1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
8 Tbs. butter, room temperature
zest of 2 lime
1 Tbs. raw cane sugar
Follow the directions for Easy Artisan Bread here, adding the fresh mint to the flour.
Serve with the sweetened lime butter (whip all ingredients together).
So easy and so superbly delicious.
