The season of sweet treats has arrived.
Enjoy a batch of easy chocolate cookies candied with seasonal Pumpkin Spice M&Ms.
Pumpkin Spice Chocolate M&M Cookies
1 cup shortening or butter, room temperature
14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup brown sugar, loosely packed
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. sea salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
8 oz. Pumpkin Spice M&Ms
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together the butter/shortening, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, and sea salt until smooth.
Add the flour and mix until well combined.
Add the cocoa powder and mix well.
Fold in the M&M candy.
Allow the dough to “rest” for 10 minutes.
Scoop 1″- sized balls of dough on parchment-lined cookie sheets.
Bake for 12-14 minutes, until just beginning to brown.
Remove from the oven and cool for 15 minutes.
