So many times we find recipes across the interwebs for sweet and delicious protein powder treats.
I suppose there is a time and a place for protein packed treats – well, yes, there certainly is!
But today, I eschew the sweet for the savory.
Today I crave the power packed protein of Nuzest with the fresh spring salubrious satisfaction of asparagus and fennel.
I’ve mentioned before how much I adore Nuzest Clean Lean Protein. It’s truly the BEST of the BEST!
Asparagus Fennel Cake Cups
2 scoops Nuzest Just Natural Clean Lean Protein**
1/3 cup plant-based “milk”
1 large egg (or egg substitute)
1/4 tsp. lemon fennel sea salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3 asparagus spears, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Whisk together all ingredients until smooth.
Spray two ramekins with oil and divide the mixture between the two.
Bake for 15 minutes or so.
Enjoy with freshly steamed asparagus.
