1 1/2 cups chocolate fudge sauce
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
3 eggs
1 pkg. cherry Jell-O powder mix
1 pkg. vanilla cake mix
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. sea salt
2 cups chocolate-covered dehydrated cherries

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Cream together the chocolate fudge sauce, butter, and eggs until smooth.

Mix in the cherry gelatin powder mix, vanilla cake mix, cocoa, and flour, as well as the salt until smooth and well combined.

Fold in the dried cherries.

Line baking sheets with parchment paper and plop mounds of dough (about 1” around – the dough will be very sticky and blobby) 1-2” apart and bake for 14 minutes, until golden brown.

Remove from oven and cool until the cookies peel off the parchment easily. The longer they sit, the crispier they will become.
