This amazing, fragrant and sensual creation may be simply (or rather wordily) defined as ~ the natural sweetness of almonds and the inherent smooth buttery softness of creamy cashews coupling so well with aromatic bouquet essence of rosewater and a spicy punch packed by ginger and amazing salt.
Ginger Rose Toasted Nuts
1 cup raw almonds
1 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup rosewater
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
Toss all ingredients together and mix well.
Preheat a large skillet and add the nut and rosewater mixture. Stir continuously until all moisture has evaporated. Continue to toast and stir for another 3-5 minutes until the nuts are extra crispy.
Allow to cool and crunch and munch until your little heart is content.
