Although it may seem like I have all the time in the world, I’m just like the rest of us on many days: harried, hurried, hustled, and overwhelmed. I’m ON THE GO!
And it when it comes to baking…that stuff takes time – and planning, especially during the holiday swoop.
Beginning October 1st each year, I feel like I’m running the race of my life to get everything done for the holiday season.
Thus, as I’ve created a few holiday baking shortcuts for some super delicious, utterly simple, and fabulously festive nibbles, I want to share them with YOU!
No frills, no tricks, really…
Just creative and versatile, using all Nestlé products which can be purchased in one fell swoop in the baking aisle at Walmart, believe it or not! (Well, the refrigerated cookie dough, of course, belongs in the cooler).
Warm up the oven and prepare to be inspired and amazed – all your senses will be both surprised and overly satisfied. After all, it IS pumpkin spice season.
So while LIBBY’s Pumpkin has been part of American baking tradition for decades, with its natural goodness bringing depth and flavor to all sorts of baked goods, I felt it was time to richen things up a bit with the addition of Nestlé Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels. How can you go wrong with chocolate, right?
And to fancy things up even further, a simple whisk of cinnamon glaze to top the Libby’s Pumpkin Bread will surely leave you Craving4More.
Carnation evaporated milk has always been known for its rich, creamy goodness. And, with cinnamon spice, a simple glaze atop a moist and delicious pumpkin bread fits any and all occasions. Trust me, this is a delicious pumpkin bread kit anyone and everyone will love!
Cinnamon Spice Glazed Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread
1 Libby’s® Pumpkin Bread Kit
4 large eggs
1/2 cup melted butter**
1 cup water
6 oz. NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
2 oz. NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line two loaf pans or square baking dishes with parchment paper. (This helps with an easy clean up, but also makes the bread easy to release from the pan).
Follow the Libby’s® Pumpkin Bread Kit instructions, with the exception of substituting melted butter for the oil.
Fold in the Chocolate Morsels.
Divide the batter between the two prepared baking pans and bake for about 55 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
Meanwhile, whisk together 2 oz. NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, the baking kit frosting, powdered sugar, and 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon.
Once the loaves have thoroughly cooled, remove from the baking pan and drizzle with the cinnamon glaze.
So what’s the very first thing you’re going to make for your busy family with all that NESTLÉ offers this holiday season?
Tasty tasty tasty, I shared with my dad but not many.
