Everyone loves Nutella.
Seriously.
Even if you don’t like to admit it, you do.
It’s impossible NOT to like.
It’s full of sugar, chocolate, nutty sweetness. It’s smooth. It’s delicious. AND, you all know you no one would have to twist your arm to sit down with a whole jar.
Nutella is served with everything in France. In fact, it’s almost as plentiful as french fries, and mayonnaise…
Most people like banana bread too. Most people, I’d say.
Indulge. Go ahead. After all, it’s that time of year.
Paleo Banana Nutella Bread
4 eggs
2 very ripe bananas, mashed
¼ cup honey
1 tsp. lemon juice
3 1/2 cups almond flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
⅛ teaspoon sea salt
½ cup walnuts
1 cup Nutella
Preheat oven to 325 degrees and grease 1 large loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk eggs until thick and pale yellow. Add bananas and mix until combined. Pour in honey and lemon juice and mix until combined.
Mix dry ingredients, then add to wet ingredients in 2 additions. Mix until combined, fold in walnuts and then “swirl” in the Nutella, ensuring the batter is NOT overmixed at this point. Pour batter into greased pan.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
