While completely ignoring the lighting inconsistency of these photos (I’m really very embarrassed – damn clouds coming and going!), dream about the title – the name – the luscious ingredients…then bake…then consume.
After baking these cookies a few months ago, I had SEVERAL requests for MORE. People were literally, Craving4More! 😉
And, contrary to my photography skills for this round, but consistent with my personality, I refuse to make the exact same time twice.
Thus, rather than cookies – recipients enjoyed cookie BARS this time!
Same ingredients. Same taste. Slightly different shape!
A unique combination of salted caramel walnut butter and dark chocolate chunks create a sweet and salty sensation of a cookie that will leave you CRAVING4MORE.
Salted Caramel Walnut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookie Bars
Salted Caramel Walnut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookie Bars
12 Tbs. butter or shortening, room temperature
1 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk (14 oz. can)
1 1/2 cups Wellnut Farms Salted Caramel Walnut Butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chunks
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together all ingredients, minus the flour and chocolate, until fluffy.
Add the flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until mixed well.
Fold in the chocolate.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper evenly spread the dough across to bake.
Bake for 30-40 minutes, until the cookie sheet (cooked dough) is are flat and just beginning to brown on the edges.
Remove from the oven and immediately and cool for 30 minutes before slicing and devouring the ooey-chewy goodness!
