As I said before, the world of spirits (cocktail spirits, thank you–I’m quite versed in the world of devotional divinity), is relatively new to my palate.

But at the same time, the flavors, essences, and sensual possibilities are absolutely endless.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll never give up my nightly glass of wine (or two), but I do find myself quite enjoying the rebellious side of cocktail combinations.

The Midnight Rebel

2 oz. Rebel Yell Kentucky Bourbon
1 oz. coffee infused vodka**
1/2 oz. Amaretto liqueur
1 tsp. simple syrup

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Gently stir. Strain and serve in a cocktail glass – up.
