I’m not sure why I find it so strange that a good girlfriend of mine adores cotton candy. I mean really, why should she have to justify her tendency to sweets when I’m leaning towards bags and bags of kale chips on end and a block of cheese a day! (ssshhhh…did you not know that about me yet?)

In any case, I wanted to make something super silly, surprisingly bright and colorful, and selectively sweet to celebrate my dear friend’s birthday this year.
